Transport cost

BBS partners that place an order, always receive a confirmation by email. Most partners will never see transport cost on that confirmation. However, if the order is below € 150 net, transport cost will be applied. Below we explain when and how we charge you for the cost of transportation and how you can prevent paying any transport cost at all.

NOTE: In the past we were using the Dutch "Brievenbuspakket". Due to the fact that there is no longer insurance on these parcels, we are forced to use the cheapest option for parcels AND have insurance; DPD Small Parcel

BBS is trying to get the best possible rate for you when it comes to transport cost. Because of our high sending volume we are in the best position to do so but it will always cost money. We decided long ago to absorb the cost of sending, providing a minumum amount is met. Curtrently this amount is € 150 net.

So most shop owners, will never be exposed to transport cost at all.  For those who order smaller amounts, we apply the rates as below:

Shipment rates

PostNL: Envelopes till 350 Grams

For sending just a few straps we will use PostNL. If you are based outside of the Netherlands we are forced to use DPD (see below).
The price of PostNL is based on the weight, maximum € 4

Till 20 grams, 1,50  |  Between 20- 50 grams 2,50  |  Between 50- 350 grams, 4,0 euro

DPD: Above 350 Grams and below € 150 net order

Shipments containing more or expensive straps, need to be insured. We use DPD for this. For BeNeLux and Germany the prices are the same if your order is below € 150.
The DPD insured transport price is € 6.75

DPD: Above € 150 net order amount

For all orders from above € 150 net, the transport cost will be absorbed by BBS.

The DPD insured transport price is € 0.0

When ordering online under € 150,- net, we always mention transport cost. However, we adjust the amount on your invoice, based on above critria.
